To get into the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences you have to be accepted by RIT and by the department. RIT focuses on the grades, test scores, etc, while the department requires a good portfolio. Try to go to a national portfolio day nearby, they can accept your portfolio there, and you'll save yourself a potentially expensive trip to visit campus.

To get into the university you need the requirements of a good gpa, official transcripts, write a good essay, get good sat scores and for the design majors , a great portfolio.

A portfolio that demonstrates you strongest work, as well as your versatile.

Be ready for FREAZING COLD, i came from florida, a fleece and a strong winter jacket that blocks air, under armor and ear muffs are the most important.

You'll only get lucky to get in if you have a hearing impairment. Otherwise, your ACT score has got to reach above 22 in order to get in. You might want to take a bit of time to prove that you can contribute to the technology areas of your high school career, you can contribute there.
